The workshop consists of 6 hours dancing throughout saturday and sunday. It is an interplay of choreographic steps and improvised movements containing different layers of intensity. After dynamic movements a more quiet sequence with focus on the breath will follow so that the body can integrate and fully land in the experience. What is truly special about Tchekpo Dans way of teaching is that the body will never get exploited but instead new pathways are opened up from where endless resources of energy can be received. Moving itself becomes as natural as breathing and one feels the connection to the ground strengthened. The rhythms of the music are in joyful communication with the dancing body unleashing vibrancy and new levels of energy.
